Getting Started with Publish

Publish is a content management system for digital signage. This guide will help you get up and running quickly.

Overview

With Publish, you can:

  • Upload media (images) to your library
  • Create scripts (playlists) to organize media into sequences
  • Build templates that define what content plays on which screens
  • Register devices (TVs/displays) and assign them to locations
  • Publish content to your devices across all your stores

Quick Start

1. Upload Your First Media

Click the Upload button (arrow icon) in the top navigation bar to add images to your library.

2. Register a Device

If you have a display device ready:

  1. Power on the device and wait for the registration screen
  2. Scan the QR code with your phone, or note the 6-character code displayed on screen
  3. Go to the device registration page (/register in the app) and enter the code (or follow the QR link)
  4. Select the store and device group for this device

3. Create a Template

  1. From the Dashboard, click Create new template
  2. Click Add Device to create slots for each screen
  3. Click + Add content to assign media to each slot
  4. Save your template

4. Publish to Devices

  1. Open your template
  2. Click Publish
  3. Select which device groups should receive this content
  4. Click Publish Selected

Your devices will automatically sync and begin displaying content.
