Getting Started with Publish TV App

The Publish TV App displays your media content on TVs, monitors, and digital signs. Once set up, the app runs automatically and keeps your content fresh.

What You'll Need​

Before you begin:

  • A display device (TV, monitor, or digital sign) with the Publish TV App installed
  • The device connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or Ethernet)
  • Access to the Publish web app to complete registration

How It Works​

The app guides you through setup automatically:

  1. Registration - The device shows a code to link it to your account
  2. Content Sync - The app downloads your media from the server
  3. Display - Your content plays on screen in rotation

Once set up, the device runs on its own. It automatically syncs new content when you publish updates from the web app.

First-Time Setup​

When you power on a new device:

  1. The app starts and displays a registration screen with a code
  2. Register the device using the web app (see Registration)
  3. Wait for content to download
  4. Your media begins playing automatically

Using the Remote Control​

The app is designed for TV remotes and D-pads:

Press OK at any time to access settings, rotate the screen, or view device information.
