Using Stores
Filtering by Store
Several pages allow filtering by store:
- Home page - Filter device groups by store
- Settings > Device Groups - Filter the list by store
- Template Publish - Filter target device groups by store
Organizing Content by Location
Common patterns:
- Regional content - Create templates for each region, publish to stores in that region
- Store-specific - Edit device group content directly for unique store needs
- Company-wide - Publish one template to all device groups across all stores
Permissions
| Action | Required Role |
|---|---|
| View stores | All users (via store filter) |
| View store details | Admin |
| Create store | Admin |
| Edit store | Admin |
| Delete store | Admin |
Best Practices
- Name stores clearly - Use names that uniquely identify each location
- Include addresses - Helps identify stores when you have many locations
- Group logically - Device groups within a store should be related (same floor, same area)
- Keep device groups focused - One group per distinct display setup
